Way to Health and Wellness
Commitment

Being a part of the Southeastern-Michigan community that we serve, we bring a strong commitment towards the care and wellness of our community. Megha Mohey MD FACP is educated and trained in Michigan. She is a graduate of Grosse Ile High School (1998), University of Michigan (BS - Psychology, 2001), Michigan State University (MD, 2005), and Henry Ford Hospital Detroit (Internal Medicine, 2008). Dr. Megha Mohey has been practicing medicine in Southeastern Michigan since 2008. She has had the honor of serving the community that she has called home for the most of her life, which has reciprocated with the long-term and vested relationship she has developed with many of her patients. This further solidifies
her commitment towards caring for the community.
Dr. Megha Mohey has earned the trust of her patients which is further evidenced through referrals to her practice from established patients, recommending her to their family, friends, and colleagues, and having cared for generations of patients. Dr. Megha Mohey's practice includes caring for adult patients 17 years and older.
Competence

Competence is achieved through strong professional training, experience, and continued learning. Dr. Megha Mohey is board certified (Internal Medicine) and has been educated at and trained in world-class, local Michigan educational and healthcare institutions. For 15 years now (since 2008), she has been practicing medicine in outpatient and inpatient settings in Southeast Michigan. Furthermore, Dr. Megha Mohey continues her commitment to the improvement of healthcare delivery by serving as a member of various medical boards and committees. Dr. Megha Mohey is a valued physician leader, elected by her colleagues, to serve as the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital's Medical Staff President from January 2019 through December 2021. Last but not least, Dr. Megha Mohey continues to expand her professional competencies whether directly related to healthcare (such as undertaking various advanced training on healthcare issues, including pursuing a degree in Integrative Health) or indirectly related to healthcare (such as being a trained yoga instructor).
Compassion

We put compassion in care by approaching healthcare as a partnership between healthcare providers, patients, their families, and the community, with a goal of keeping patients healthy rather than treating them as sick. We empower our patients with tools and resources to allow continuity of care outside of medical consultations. We work closely with them as 'coaches' in establishing and achieving wellness goals. See our Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) section for more information.
